The Grassroots Activist and Campaign School is LI’s entry-level program to teach you proven organizational and communication techniques. You will learn both how to build a grassroots organization and the tactics for successful grassroots lobbying. The school is suitable for novice and seasoned activists, campaign staffers and volunteers.
Ideal attendees for the Grassroots Activist and Campaign School are center-right public policy organization staff, conservative individuals or groups working on political campaigns, ballot initiatives, propositions, or referenda, or those interested in volunteering or working for a conservative candidate, cause, or issue at the local or state level.

Lectures given in the one day school include the following:

  • Precinct Organization,
  • Developing a Persuasive Message,
  • Recruiting and Motivating Volunteers,
  • Building Coalitions,
  • Grassroots Lobbying,
  • Petition Drives,
  • Door-to-Door & Phones,
  • Earned/Paid Media.
I attended this training years ago and learned much every time I went. I encourage you to attend if you are interested in being effective in the political process.
